Winifred "Winnie" Boyd, 82, of Paintsville, died Thursday, Jan. 3,
2008 in Lexington.
Born Jan. 16, 1925, in Bath County, she was a daughter of the late
Herman and Martha White Staton. She was a member of First Baptist
Church.
Survivors include her husband, Clifford Boyd of Paintsville; a
son, Doug Boyd of Lexington; two daughters, Sue Brown of
Paintsville and Lana Russell of Betsy Layne; and a sister, Millie
Sprenkel of Elizabethtown, Penn.
Funeral services were Sunday, Jan. 6, at First Baptist Church with
Donnie Patrick and Larry O'Bryan officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
