CARLIE C. BROWN

Carlie C. Brown, 25, of Ypsilanti, MI died Tuesday, May 16 from
injuries sustained in an airplane crash.
  
He was employed by Motor Wheel Company in Ypsilanti and was
affiliated with the Methodist Church.
  
He was the son of Claude and Evelyn Kerns Brown of Volga.
  
Immediate survivors include his wife, Judy Ann Stapleton Brown, one
son, Christopher Michael Brown, at home, one brother, John Y. Brown
of Columbus, OH, two sisters, Mrs. Roger Owens of West Van Lear, and
Mrs. Michael Wattenburger of Winchester and his maternal grandmother,
Mrs. Ella Kerns of Columbus, OH.
  
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Frank Spillman on Saturday,
May 20 at 2 p.m. in the Cannons Chapel Methodist Church at Volga.
  
Burial followed in the Highland Memorial park at Staffordsville under
direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
