ROY BROWN
1917-1990
Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Roy
"Bill" Brown, 72.
Mr. Brown was born September 17, 1917 in Johnson County, the son of
Roy and Emma Arrowood Brown.
He was a retired miner and resident of Roseville, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Murphy Brown, in 1983.
Surviving are three sons, Donald Brown and James Brown, both of
Roseville, and Kenneth Brown, of Warren, Michiagan; two brothers,
Ivan Brown and Jack Brown, both of Van Lear; two sisters, Dovie
Lawrence, of Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Lois Ward, of Springboro,
Ohio; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 28, in Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, with Steven Thrasher officiating.
Burial was in Highlands Memorial Park at Stafffordsville.
