LORETTA BURCHETT
1923-1983
   
Loretta Burchett, 59, died Feb 20 at her Staffordsville home following an
extended illness.
  
Mrs. Burchett was born June 6, 1923, in Floyd County, the daughter of Ray
and Cora Fairchild.
  
Surviving are three sons, James Micky and Tony Burchett, all of
Staffordsville, five daughters, Arlene Nickell of Flat Gap, Darlene Rice
and Kay Williams, Paintsville, Carolyn Nickell, Louisa, and Debbie
Scarberry, Staffordsville, a brother, Leroy Fairchild; and a half brother,
Walker Fairchild, both of Staffordsville; one sister Virginia Nelson,
Prestonsburg, and a half sister, Etta Goble, Staffordsville and 14
grandchildren.
    
Funeral services were held Feb 22 in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel
with Doug Burkett officiating.
    
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
