JOHN C. BURKE
1928-1990
Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for John C.
Burke, 61.
Mr. Burke was born August 9, 1928 in Johnson County, the son of
Carl and Edna Welch Burke.
He was employed by Kinnear Corp in Columbus, Ohio and was a veteran
of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Preston Burke; one son, Charles C.
Burke, of Columbus: two daughters, Matilda Mickey and Dianna Burke,
both of Columbus; three brothers, Sam and Bill, both of Hager Hill,
and Morris, of East Point; one sister, Ira Runyon, of Florida; and
three grand children.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 10, in Paintsville
Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mathew Boyles officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
