WILLIAM ZENITH BURKE
1942-2009


Funeral services were held Nov. 8 at 11 a.m. at Bailey Funeral Home,
Elkhorn City, for William Zenith Burke, 67, of Sitka, who passed away
Nov. 4 at Community Hospice, Ashland.

He was born Jan. 27, 1942 in Johnson County, son of the late Walter
Burke and Estella Collins Gibson. He was a coal miner.

He is survived by his wife Kathaleen Rose Burke; three sons, Ronnie
Burke, Allen, Timmy Burke, Dandridge, Tenn., and Randy Burke, Sitka;
two brothers, Estill Burke, Ashland, and Randall Burke, Chicago,
Ill..; six sisters, Delta Williams, Banner, Lena Daniels, Louisa,
Tessie Williams, Louisa, Mable Vicors, Tenn., Eunice Voorhees, Ohio,
and Gracie Ann Johnson, New York; and eight grandchildren.

Services were conducted by Delon Jones and Darrell Harmon, with burial
at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville.

Arrangements under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Elkhorn City.
