DARLEY CAUDILL
1906-1972

Darley Caudill, 65, of West Van Lear, died Wednesday, May 31 at the
University Medical Hospital in Lexington following a sudden illness.

He was a retired oil pumper and was affiliated with the Freewill
Baptist Church.

He was the son of the late Wilbur R. and Cora Bell Caudill.

Immediate survivors include his wife, Marie Messer Caudill, five
sons, Lee Edward Caudill and Billy Ray Caudill, both of Lexington,
Glen Richard Caudill and James Russell Caudill, both of Springfield,
OH, and Dan Alvin Caudill of West Van Lear; one step son, Dean Messer
of Paintsville, one daughter, Mrs. Brenda Darlene Lewis of
Springfield, OH; three step daughters, Mrs. Janet Fairchild of
Ashland, Mrs. Thelma Jewel Sychowski of Stone Park, IL, and Carol
Wallen of Thelma, two brothers, Solomon Caudill of Eustis, FL and
Albert Caudill of Williamsburg, OH, and two sisters, Mrs. Nora
Mullins of Trenton, OH and Mrs. Docie Brewer of Williamsburg, OH.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Willard Wilcox and Rev. John
Frank Ratliff on Friday, June 2 at the Rockhouse Freewill Baptist
Church at Staffordsville.

Burial followed in the Highland Memorial Park under direction of the
Paintsville Funeral Home.
