Funeral services were held Thursday, March 27, 11 a.m. at the Preston
Funeral Home Chapel for Clifford Collins, 63, of Thelma, who passed away
Tuesday, March 25 in Ashland.
  
Mr. Collins was born Jan. 15, 1951 at Nippa, son of the late Marion and
Reathel Saddler Collins.
  
He was a truck driver with Danco Fuels. He was also preceded in death by
two sisters, Janie Kennard and Judy Bocook.
  
Surviving are one son, Brandon Collins of Thelma; two daughters, Ashley
Hammond of Inez, and Tiffany Collins of Flatwoods; five sisters, Junnie
Davis of Paintsville, Patricia Collins of Nippa, Barbara Meade of Thealka,
Malinda Sammons of Fort Gay, W. Va., and Maudie Bryan of South Carolina;
and two grandchildren.
  
The service was officiated by Larry Blair, with burial in the Highland
Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
  
Arrangements under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
