Ava “Jewell” Conley, 83, of Nicholasville, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, at St.
Joseph Hospital.
  
Born Oct. 9, 1931, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late Otto and
Gertrude Webb Moles. She was a homemaker.
  
She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Conley.
  
Survivors include two sons, Harry Milton Conley of Valparaiso, Ind., and
Lowell Curtis Conley of Nicholasville; a daughter, Dianna Lynn Lucas of
Valparaiso; three sisters, Marguerite Roberts of Wittensville, Nancy
Lancaster of Nicholasville and Dottie Kestner of Paintsville; four
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 12, at Highland Memorial Park Chapel, with
Wesley Stedtefeld officiating.
   
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
