Betty Jo Pelphrey Conley, 75, of Leander, died Sunday, April 20, at Sitka.
  
Born Feb. 5, 1939, at Volga, she was the daughter of the late Jesse C. and
Sally Blanton Pelphrey. She was a retired Johnson County court clerk.
  
She was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph Eugene Conley; and a
brother, Harold Eugene Pelphrey.
  
Survivors include her husband, Wallace M. Conley; a son, Christopher
Pelphrey Conley of Paintsville; a daughter, Sallee Holbrook of Sitka; three
sisters, Judy Kelly, Jean Wheeler and Bonnie Sue Ross, all of
Staffordsville; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
  
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 22, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, with Danny Ward and John Fred Ramey officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
