DENNIS CONLEY
1883-1967
Dennis (Den) Conley, age 83, died Saturday, January 21, at 7:15
a.m. in the Paintsville Hospital after a brief illness.
Born July 17, 1883 at Hager Hill he was the son of John and Rhoda
Peppin Conley.
Conley, a retired carpenter, had been a lifetime resident of Hager
Hill.
His wife, the former Bessie Rice, survives. They were married at
Collista on January 23, 1908.
Additional survivors include two sons, Marvin of Ashland and Cecil
of Columbus, a daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Dotson of Hager Hill, four
grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, January 23, at 2 p.m. in
the Chapter of the Preston Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Castle
officiating. Burial took place in the Highland Memorial Park at
Staffordsville with the Preston Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
Pallbearers were Alex Pelphrey, Beecher Conley, William Henry
Conley, Arie Blair and Dennis Blair.
