Everett Fishel Conley, 88, of Hager Hill, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Highlands
Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born Feb. 5, 1920, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Everett M.
and Suna McKenzie Conley. He was a water well driller and a U.S. World War II
Army veteran.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jewell Butler and Lucille
Daniels; and a brother, Keith Conley.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Auxier Conley of Hager Hill; a son,
Kenneth Conley of Oil Springs; three daughters, Doris Hughes of West Van Lear,
Joyce Preston and Donna Taylor, both of Hager Hill; eight grandchildren; and
five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, Dec. 5, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel,
with Aaron Davis, Dave Flanery and Jerry Scott officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, under direction of Jones- Preston
Funeral Home, Paintsville.
