Leck D. Conley, 89, died Monday, September 15 at his home in West Van
Lear after an extended illness.
  
Funeral services were held today, Wednesday, September 17 in the
chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home with the Reverend J. H. Burton
officiating.
  
Interment followed in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville
under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
  
The son of the late Albert and Vina Estas Conley, he was born in
Johnson County on June 13, 1880. He was a retired miner and was
affiliated with the Church of God.
  
Survivors include four sons, Kanawha of Paintsville, Clifton of
Chester, Pennsylvania, Beecher of Indianapolis, Indiana and Virgil of
Columbus, Ohio; and two daughters, Gertrude Stacy of Indianapolis,
Indiana and Edna Arnett of Portsmouth, Ohio.
