BARBARA CRUTCHER
1924-2009

Barbara M. Crutcher, 85, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14,
2009, at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
Mrs. Crutcher was born July 28, 1924, in Johnson County, to the late
Arthur B. and Audrey Faye Salyer Murray.
She was also preceded in
death by her husband, Thomas Dickenson Crutcher.
She was a member of
the South Ashland United Methodist Church and a charter member of the
Fishtrap Church. She was a planner for Ashland Oil & Refining Company
at Catlettsburg for 32 years and previously worked with her husband
in Crutcher's Grocery in Louisa.
Surviving is a son, Thomas Dickenson Crutcher II and wife Wilma of
Richmond; grandchildren; Heather Crutcher, Rebecca Crutcher, and
Amber Crutcher all of Richmond; a brother, Willie Dean and Ethel
Murray of Johnson County; a niece, Sheri and Tim Music of Johnson
County; nephews; Greg and Valerie Murray of Johnson, County, John and
Cathy Newsom of Poca, W.Va., and John Alley of Milwaukee, Wis.
Funeral services were noon, Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Young Funeral Home
Chapel.
Burial was in Highlands Memorial Park in Staffordsville, under
direction of Young Funeral Home, Louisa.
