LAWRENCE DANIEL
1892-1971
Lawrence Daniel, 79, of Paintsville passed away May 6 in the C & O
Hospital at Huntington, W. Va.
A C & O employee for 47 years, Daniel was the husband of Julia
Lemaster Daniel. He was born in Johnson County to the late Isom
and Elizabeth Murray Daniel.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters in Paintsville, Mrs. John
L. Spears and Mrs. Morris Conley; five grand-children and six
great grand- children.
Elders O. I. Williams and Everett Slone conducted services May 9 in
the Paintsville United Baptist Church, which Daniel was
affiliated with.
Interment followed in the Highland Memorial Park, under the
guidance of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Wilbur Daniel, Elmo Slone, Jess Songer,
Dean Williams, Roy Ross, Doug McClure, Scott Conley and William
Daniel.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Abe Barber, Charlie Vincent,
Tom Butler, Miniard Grimm, Dugan Webb, J. O. Sparks, Charlie
Newsome, Ransom Daniel, Eugene Daniel, J. V. Trimble, Delmer Wells,
Buddy Castle, W. E. Fitch, Bobbie Meade and Everett Bradley.
