SIMON DANIEL
1913-1980

Simon Daniel, 67, died Sunday, September 14, 1980, in Guernsey
Memorial Hospital in Cambridge, Ohio.

Mr. Daniel was born February 15, 1913, in Johnson County, the son of
Edgar and Frona Lemaster Daniel.  He was employed in the field of oil
and gas.

Surviving are his wife, Ivel Conley Daniel; two sons, Richard Daniel,
Conneaut, Ohio, and Harry Daniel, Newport News, Va.; a daughter,
Marilyn Sue Chesney, Escondido, Calif.; two brothers, Hubert Daniel,
Johnstown, Ohio, and Buell Daniel, Allegan, Mich.; a sister, Zona
Songer, Paintsville; and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, September 17, in
Paintsville United Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, with
Jones-Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Simon Daniel

Simon Daniel, 67, of Rustic Acres Trailer Court, Cambridge, Ohio,
died Sunday (Sept. 14, 1980) at Guernsey Memorial Hospital in
Cambridge.

He was born Feb. 15, 1913, in Johnson County, Ky., son of the late
Edgar and Frona Daniel.  He was a member of the United Baptist Church
of Paintsville, Ky.

He leaves his wife, Ivel Conley Daniel; a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Sue
Chesney of Escondido, Calif.; two sons, Richard of Conneaut, Ohio,
and Harry of Newport News, Va., and 11 grandchildren.  A daughter,
Judith Ann, and a son, Kerry Neil, are deceased.

Arrangements are being made by Jones-Preston Funeral Home,
Paintsville, Ky., where burial will take place at Highland Memorial
Park, Staffordsville, Ky.
