Clista Daniel, 85, died Wednesday, September 26, in Paul B. Hall
Regional Medical Center.
    
Mrs. Daniel was born October 23, 1904 in Johnson County, the
daughter of Arch and Della Preston Music, She was a member of
Little Friendship United Baptist Church.
    
She was preceded in death by her husband, Josh Daniel, in 1985.
    
Surviving are two sons, Herman Daniel, of Boons Camp, and Arnold
Daniel, of Brookville, Ohio; four sisters, Julie Williams, of Van
Lear, Elsie Ward, of Boons Camp, Evelyn Pauley, of West Virginia,
and Faye Cole, of Columbus, Ohio; and 12 grandchildren and 17
great-grandchildren.
     
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 29, in Little
Friendship United Baptist Church, with Flem Arrowood, Ivan Butcher
and Claude Mollett officiating.
    
Burial was in Highland Memonal Park at Staffordsville, with Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
