Jay Thompson Daniels, 83, of Paintsville, died Friday, Aug. 7, at
Paul B. Hall Medical Center, Paintsville.

Born Feb. 19, 1926, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late
Lafe and Maude Plummer Daniels.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth "Sonya" Strobl Daniels of
Paintsville; and a son, Lafe Daniels of Paintsville.

Funeral services were Sunday, Aug. 9, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel. Masonic services were performed by Paintsville Lodge 381 F. &
A.M.

Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction
of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
