Beatrice N. Dennison, 83, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at
Logan Regional Medical Center.
  
Born March 15, 1924, in Johnson County, Ky., she was a daughter of
the late Orza and Suzanne Sturgill Necessary. Also preceding her in
death was her husband, James Dennison, in 1996, and one son, James
Gary Dennison on January 20, 2008.
  
Mrs. Dennison was a homemaker and attended the Yuma Church of Christ.
  
Survivors include two daughters, Freda (Gary) Whisman of Ethel and
Wilma (Chester) Ball of Lake; one daughter-in-law, Ruby Dennison of
Stirrat; one step-son, James Wendell (Dorothy) Dennison of Columbia,
Tenn.; one brother, Frank Necessary of Madison, Va.; one half-sister,
Jean Grace of Williamson; six grandchildren, Tammy Whisman, Angela
(Page) Vannatter, Brian (Bobbi) Ball, Chad (Kayla Marie) Ball, Debra
Dennison and Shane Dennison; six great-grandchildren, Kayla Brooke
Ball, Taylor CheyAnn Ball, Brandon Lee Ball, Tyler James Ball, Emilee
Madison Ball and Savannah Page Vannatter, and two step grandchildren.
  
Jerry Scott will officiate funeral services for Mrs. Dennison which
will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel at Paintsville, Ky., with burial to follow at
Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Ky.
  
Jones-Preston Funeral Home of Paintsville, Ky., is in charge of the
arrangements.
