Anne Howard Dickerson, 80, of Prestonsburg, died Monday, March 30, at
her residence.
  
Born June 23, 1928, at Ivyton, she was the daughter of the late Byrd
Howard and June Hurt Dickerson. She was a school teacher and a member
of the Ivyton Baptist Church.
  
She was also preceded in death by her husband, James A. Dickerson
Jr.; a brother, Robert Howard; and two sisters, Coralee Robinson and
Dorthy Howard.
  
Survivors include a son, Kenton Dickerson of Floyd County; a brother,
Phillip S. Scott of Corbin; and a sister, Patsy Poe of Ivyton.
  
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, April 1, at
Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel, with Richard Greene officiating.
  
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Magoffin County Funeral Home, Salyersville.
