Betty Marie Reynolds Dorton, 91, of Paintsville, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, at
her residence.
  
Born Aug. 2, 1922, at Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late
Floyd Marion and Marie Elsie Riechert Reynolds. She was a retired
registered nurse.
   
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Trigg “O.T.” Dorton.
  
Survivors include a son, Dennis T. Dorton of Paintsville; a daughter, Lynn
Mullins of Paintsville; two brothers, Dick Reynolds of Fort Worth, Texas,
and Jack Reynolds of Canal Winchester, Ohio; a sister, Marilyn Lawless of
Columbus; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 8, at First United Methodist Church,
with Ken Spurrier and Clay Bailey officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
