GUY D. DOZIER
1911-1990
   
Guy D. Dozier, 79, of Staffordsville, died Monday, Dec. 10, at Paul
B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville.
  
Born in Barbourville Sept 4,1911, he was a son of Andrew and Lucy
Smith Dozier.
  
He was a heavy equipment operator and served as a deacon of the
Free Will Baptist Church in Staffordsville.
  
In addition, he was a veteran of World War ll.
  
Survivors include his wife, Betty Moore Dozier; a son, Guy Andrew
Dozier of Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter, Kathleen Ann Dozier of
Lexington; a brother, William Grant Dozier of Garden Grove, Calif.;
a daughter-in-law, Diane Dozier of Williamsport; four grandchildren
and one greatgrandchild.
  
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 (today)
at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Dick Vanhoose, Toby
Wheeler and Tom Wells officiating.
    
Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville.
