JOYCE ANN ONEY
1933-2014
   
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 19, 2 p.m. at the Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel for Joyce Ann Hale Oney, 80, of East Point, who passed
away Monday, June 16 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
   
Mrs. Oney was born Dec. 8, 1933 in Johnson County, daughter of the late Homer
and Trixie Williams Hale.
   
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Gene Oney; one son, Tommy
Oney; and one sister, Doris Hale.
  
Surviving are two sons, Gerald Oney and Rick Oney, both of Sharpsburg; two
brothers, Charles Hale of Pineville, and Homer Hale Jr. of Ohio; seven
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
  
The service was officiated by Aaron Davis, with burial in the Highland
Memorial Park Cemetery at Staffordsville.
  
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones- Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
