Dorothy Osborne, 82, of Paintsville, died Monday, March 17, at Highlands
Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
  
Born July 16, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and
Nettie Boyd Tackett.
  
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Clay Osborne; a son,
Gaillen Wayne Tackett; four brothers, Mack Fields, Bill Tackett, Harold
Tackett and Floyd Tackett; and three sisters, Alice Litz, Lillian Woods and
Ruth Marsh.
  
Survivors include two sons, Jackie Darrell Tackett and Patrick Clay
Osborne; a step-daughter, Linda Deilkes of Cambridge City, Ind.; a sister,
Deloris Castle of Nippa; and two grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Thursday, March 20, at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel,
with James Kelly Caudill officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
