ESTILL PENNINGTON
1910-1995
Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Estill
Pennington, 85, who died Friday, May 5 at his Ashville, OH residence.
Mr. Pennington was born February 20, 1910, in Magoffin County, the
son of the late William and Almeda Jackson Pennington.
He was a retired oil field worker.
Also preceding him in death was his wife, Bessie Litteral Pennington;
and a son, Taulbee, on November 23, 1994. Surviving are one son,
Dorsey Pennington of Cambridge, OH; two daughters, Shirley Blair of
Urbana, OH and Christine Conley of Ashville, OH; one sister, Nellie
Blanton of Oil Springs; and 15 grandchildren and 18 great
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 8 at Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Dick VanHoose, Junior Womack, Everett Conley, and
Joe Carroll officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
