ETHEL C. PRESTON
1906-1992
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 9 for Ethel C. Preston,
85, who died Sunday, April 5 in St. Joseph Hospital Lexington.
Preston was born November 18, 1906 in Carter County, the daughter
of the late William Preston Botkin and Mary Frances. She was a
member of the Mayo Methodist Church, the Garden Club, Booster Club
and the Johnson County Senior Citizens.
Surviving are three daughters, June Tackett of Paintsville, Audrey
Conley of Lexington and Joan Locasa of Lodi, California; and one
sister, Pat Cooper of Vanceburg.
Officiating at services in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel was
Bill Pollack.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
