Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 17, 2 p.m. at the Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel for Herbert Preston Jr., 81, of Tutor Key, who passed
away Sunday, Feb. 16.
  
Mr. Preston was born Feb. 22, 1932 in Johnson County. He was a retired coal
minor.
  
He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Dean Preston.
  
Surviving are his wife, Jearlene Scarberry Preston of Tutor Key; one
grandson and one great- grandson.
  
The service was officiated by Wayne Price and Larry Smith, with burial in
the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
  
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
