Carl Douglas Price, 80, of Harold, formerly of Johnson County, died Monday,
Dec. 22, at Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard.
  
Born July 26, 1934, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Hubert and
Ruby Price. He was a retired welder, a member of the Cow Creek Freewill
Baptist Church, and a U.S. Army veteran.
  
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Hubert Price Jr.; and four
sisters, Louise Rowlin, Virgie Ward, Evelyn Booth and Melvina Balridge.
  
Survivors include his wife, Marcella Spurlock Price; a son, Dwayne Price of
Staffordsville; two step-sons, Kenneth Case of Dana and Jeff Case of Mullins;
two daughters, Carla Cannon and Lori Castle, both of Mt. Sterling; a brother,
Jack Price of Warsaw, Ind.; two sisters, Jenny Wiley and Claudia Lyons, both
of Paintsville; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Wednesday, Dec. 24, at Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial
was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of Hall
Funeral Home, Martin.
