DANIEL W. PUGH
1904-1970
  
A brief illness ended in death on December 5 for Daniel W. Pugh,
66, who passed away in a Lexington hospital.  The former
Paintsville resident was employed as a service station attendant.
  
Surviving are his wife, Marie Travis Pugh; a son in Hazard, Danny
Pugh; two daughters, Charlene Pugh of Lexington and Mrs. Judy
Hoagland from Fresno, Calif.; and two sisters in Pomona, Calif.,
Mrs. Manuel Robinson and Mrs. Geraldine Morgan.
   
He was born in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late Clarence and Mae Gibson
Pugh.
  
Services were held in the First Christian Church on December 8,
with Jerry Ginnan officiating.
  
Internment was in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville,
under the guidance of the Jones- Preston Funeral Home.
