MAXIE RAMEY

Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Maxie
Ramey, 88.
  
Mrs. Ramey was born in Johnson  County, the daughter of Hiram Brownlow
and Cynthia Collins Wells. She was a memeber of the Church of Christ.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ramey, in 1962.
  
Surviving are five sons, H.B. Ramey, of West Van Lear, Charles Ramey,
of Harrison, Ohio, William Ramey, of Taylor, Michigan, James Ramey, of
Sierra Vista, Arizona, and one daughter, Mae Webb, of Taylor.
  
Funeral services were held Friday, March 9, in Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Jerry Scott officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
