ELIZABETH REED
1896-1965
Elizabeth Reed, 69, died December 19, at a rest home in Lorain,
Ohio.
Born March 16, 1896 in Magoffin County, she was the daughter of
the late Joe and Phoebe Hall Howard.
A member of the United Baptist church and the Bridgeford
Homemakers Club, she was married to Jeff Reed, who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Etta M. Baldwin of Lorair,
Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Reed of Lucasville, Ohio; and two
brothers, Dolpha Howard of Dayton, Ohio and Steve Howard of
Sciotoville, Ohio.
Funeral services were held today at 1:00 p.m. at the Paintsville
United Baptist church with Arnold Reed, Lonza Reed and O.I.
Williams officiating.
Interment was held in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville
under the arrangements of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
