Nellie Mae Reed, 97, of Hustonville, formerly of Paintsville, died Sunday,
March 9.
  
Born Jan. 12, 1919, at Paintsville, she was the daughter of the late Rennie
V. and Jennie Dills Daniel. She was a minister, a member of the Danville
Church of God and a retired store clerk.
   
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar B. Reed.
  
Survivors include two sons, Oscar Douglas Reed of Hager Hill and Frederick
Reed of Thelma; two daughters, Judy Caudill of Hustonville and Jennie Lee
Webb of Englewood, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and
five great-great-grandchildren.
   
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at Calvery Church of
God, with Bryan Montgomery, and Paul Stepp officiating. Visitation will be
all day Wednesday, March 12, at the church.
  
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
