HAZEL RICE

Hazel Rice, 87,died Saturday, January 13, in J.J. Jordan Geriatric
Center, Louisa.
  
Mrs. Rice was born September 14, 1902 in Johnson County, the daughter
of Charles and Della Hamilton Lester.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Rice, in January
1962.
  
Surviving are one son, Paul Irvin Rice, of Bradyville, Indiana; one
daughter, Nancy Plummer, of Hager Hill; and six grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Tuesday January 16 in Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Dick Vanhoose officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
