MARVIN O. ROBINSON
1909-1984
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, July 11, in Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Marvin O. Robinson, 78.
Mr. Robinson died July 9, in Highlands Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 3, 1909, in Johnson County, the son of Sherd and
Ida Blackburn Robinson. He was a resident of East Point, a
retired miner and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Slone Robinson; a son, Raymond
Robinson, East Point; a daughter, Peggy Daniels, Ona WV.; two
brothers Claude Robinson, East Point, and Frank Robinson,
Steinhatchee , Fl., a sister Ruth Parker, Port Ritchie, Fl; five
granchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Bill Campbell and Phil Robinson will officate at services with
burial in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
