Oneida Scurlock, 91, of Paintsville, died Wednesday, Oct. 30.
   
Born Aug. 13, 1922, at Paintsville, she was the daughter of the late Kie
and Eula Ward Castle.
   
Survivors include two sons, Everett Scurlock of Clarksville, Tenn., and
William Russell Scurlock of Tutor Key; a daughter, Flora Montgomery of
Winchester; a sister, Cordia Castle of Paintsville; and seven
grandchildren.
   
Funeral services were Thursday, Oct. 31 at Baker Branch Free Will Baptist
Church, with Jeremy Estep, James Roger Vanhoose and Venny Vanhoose
officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under direction
of Preston Funeral Home.
