JOHN B. SELLARDS

John B. Sellards, age 71, died Wednesday, February 1 at 8:50 a.m. in the
Paintsville Clinic.
  
Funeral services were conducted Friday, February 3 at 1 p.m. at the
First Baptist Church with Rev. J.E. Wallace officiating.
  
Sellards, a son of Ben L. and Mary Gost Sellards, was born on May 10,
1895, in Fayette County, West Virginia. He has resided in Paintsville
most of his lifetime.
  
Survivors include a son, John D, of Painstville, six daughters, Mrs.
Peter Jarvis of Prestonsburg, Mrs. Fred Frasier of Ashland, Mrs. James
Turner of Louisville, Mrs. Harvey Maynard of Stock Port, Ohio, Mrs.
Jayson Spears of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. William Suttle of Newport News,
Virginia and a brother, Woodrow Sellards of Los Angeles, California.
  
Also surviving are 15 grandchildren.
  
Pallbearers were P.J. Meade, Raymond Brush, Roger Short, P.D. Pack, Gary
Belcher and Ben A. Boyd.
  
Burial took place in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with
the Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
