HERMAN SETSER
1913-1995
Retired pipe fitter Herman Setser, 82, died Sunday, December 3, at
Highlands Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Setser ws born March 27, 1913 in Floyd County, the son of the
late Marion and Lydia Burchett Setser.
He was a member of the Old Friendship United Baptist Church at
Williamsport.
Also preceding him in death was a son, Paul Setser, in 1987.
Surviving are his wife, Vivian Penix Setser; one daughter in law,
Jeannie Setser of Van Lear; two brothers, Henry Lewis Setser and
Millard Sestser, both of Prestonsburg; two granddaughters, Jamie
Castle of Williamsport and Jennifer Setser of Van Lear; and two great
granddaughters, Morgan and Emily Castle, of Williamsport.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, December 6, at 11
a.m. at Old Friendship United Baptist church, with Flem Allen
Arrowood, Ted Asbury and Glen Penix officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, with
Jones-Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
