Bessie J. Spears, 89, of Paintsville, died Saturday, Nov.27, 2004 at
Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born Dec. 21, 1914, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late
Hebern and Minnie Rice Fitzpatrick. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Spears, in 1992.
Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Trotter of Columbiana, Ala.; a
sister, Grace Hites of Arlington, Ohio; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, Paintsville, with Roger Thornsbury and Joe Scott officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction
of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
