Gary Wayne "Streethawk" Strobel, 67, of Louisa, died Saturday, Sept.
13, at his residence.
Born Sept. 10, 1941, in Evansville, Ind., he was the son of the late
Walter Henry and Lorene Dunn Strobel. He was a retired Electrician
Foreman at Martiki, a former Paintsville Police Officer, and a Disc
Jockey with WZAQ in Louisa.
Survivors include four daughters, Valerie Stone of Clay County, Dawn
Strobel of Western Kentucky, Teressa (David) Vance of Louisa, and
Kelli Henderson of Panama City, Fla.; four sons, DeWayne (Crystal)
Strobel of Nashville, Tenn., Tim Strobel and fiancée Lorrie of
Paintsville, Chris "Bubba" Strobel of Panama City, and Matthew
Strobel of Louisa; a sister, Marcella (Kay) Clark of Manitou; and
eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Wilson
Funeral Home, with Rev. Rick May officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Wilson Funeral Home, Louisa.
