OSIE AKERS

Osie Conley Akers, 88, died March 27 1986 in Madison, IN.
Mrs. Akers was born December 4, 1897, in Floyd County, the
daughter of WILLIAM A. and ARNINTA ALICE RICE CONLEY.
She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Her husband, Russell Akers preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Pauline Patrick, of Madison, IN; three
sisters, Vertrice Howard, of Tucson, AZ, May McCloud, of Bonne,
NC, and Maxine Goble, of West Van Lear; three grandchildren, five
great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 1, in Jones- Preston
Funeral Home Chapel with Dave Flannery officiating.
Burial was in Richmond Cemetery in Paintsville.
