Alka Estepp Arms, 94, of Staffordsville, died Friday, March
9, 2007 at Mountain Manor Nursing Home, Paintsville.
Born Sept. 10, 1912, in Johnson County, she was a daughter
of the late Sam and Rosie Salyers Estepp. She was a sales
clerk with G.C. Murphy Company.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Everett Arms,
in 1972.
Survivors include four sons, Alvious Arms of Huntington,
W.Va., Bill Arms of Grove City, Ohio, Herbert Arms of Hager
Hill and Wayne Arms of Farmington, Mo.; two daughters,
Everetta Bradley of Stuttgart, Ark., and Vickie Blanton of
Staffordsville; several grandchildren; and several great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, March 12, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Richard Williams and
Wayne Price officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
