MORRIS ARMS
1894-1954

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Liberty Baptist Church at
Denver for Morris Arms, 60 who died in a local hospital Wednesday,
April 21, following an illness of a few days.

The son of Jesse and Cynthia Blair Arms, he was born March 31, 1894,
at Barnetts Creek. He was a resident of Leander at the time of his
death.

A farmer by occupation, he was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Beulah Colvin Arms one son, Woodford
Arms, Leander, two daughters, Mrs. Zella Rivers and Imogene Arms,
both of Leander.

Also surviving are two brothers, Oliver Arms, Urbana, OH., and Oscar
Arms, Denver, KY.; five sisters, Mrs. Lydia Spradlin, Mrs. Ruie
Spradlin, Mrs. Mary Spradlin and Mrs. Alma McCarty, all of Denver,
and Mrs. Martha Arms, Riceville.

Stanley Borders and Adron Davis were officiating ministers.

Burial was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the
Paintsville Funeral Home.
