NELLIE ARNETT
1889-1981
Nellie May Blair Arnett, 92, died Tuesday, September 1, in Paintsville
Hospital.
Mrs. Arnett was born August 9, 1889, in Wayne County, WV, the daughter of
Jake and Rebecca May.
She was a resident of Paintsville and a member of the Missionary Baptist
Church. Her husband, Homer Arnett, preceded her in death in October 1977.
Surviving are a son, Burns Blair, Dayton, OH, a half sister, Belle Adkins,
Rialto, CA; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, September 4, in Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with John Sammons officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial park, Staffordsville, with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
