ANNA ARROWOOD
Anna Witten Arrowood passed away Thursday, January 24, 1974, in a
Prestonsburg Nursing Home at the age of 85, following an extended
illness.
Born January 26, 1888, the daughter of the late Wilk and Rachel
Stambaugh Witten, she was a Tutor Key resident and member of the Church
of Christ.
Her husband, Alonzo Arrowood, preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Raleigh of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Mrs.
Billie Strong of Irvin; two step-sons, Paul Arrowood of Paintsville and
James Arrowood of Phoenix, Arizona; three step- daughters, Mrs. Sylvia
Pack of Painstville, Mrs. Frankie Janow of Phoenix, and Mrs. Georgene
Oney of Canton, Illinois; and a brother, Earl Witten of Procterville,
Ohio.
Services were held Sunday, January 28, in the Chapel of the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home with Reverend J.H. Short officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with arrangements
under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
