Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, March 10, 2000 for
Imogene Arrowood, 71, of River, who died Tuesday, March 7, at Highlands
Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Arrowood was born May 8, 1928, at Auxier, to the late Paris and
Alice Sherman Wells.
Surviving are her husband, William F. Arrowood; four sons, Paul Arrowood
of Paintsville and David, Doug and Roger Arrowood, all of River; six
daughters, Carla Arms, Karen Daniels and Kaye Joseph, all of River,
Debbie Howard of Salyersville, Patty Wallen of Columbus, Ohio, and
Brenda Daniels of Tacoma, Washington; one brother, Donald Wells of
Springfield, Ohio; two sisters, Roberta Baldwin of Paintsville and Ruth
Harding of Cawood; and 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Officiating at 2 p.m. services at Concord Independent Baptist Church
will be Steve Rose and J.M. Scott.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, with Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
