James “Moe” Livingston Austin, 74, of Paintsville, died Saturday, Oct. 6, at
Mountain Manor Nursing Home.
Born March 3, 1938, at Van Lear, he was the son of the late William Bryant
and Josie Lee Caudill Austin. He was a general laborer.
Survivors include a daughter, Josie Ann Williams of Portsmouth, Ohio; a
brother, Michael Austin of Paintsville; three sisters, Dosha Clemons of Hager
Hill, Judy Jenkins of Paintsville and Nora Francis Morgan of Columbus, Ohio.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with
Joe Adkins officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under direction of
Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
