VIRGIL AUXIER JR.

Virgil Auxier Jr., 64, of East Point, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007 at
his residence.
Born July 23, 1943, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late
Virgil Sr. and Alta Taylor Auxier. He was a retired bus driver with
the Johnson County School System, and a U.S. Army veteran.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Madeline Coulter.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Stapleton Auxier of East Point; a
daughter, Debra Auxier Crum of Chapmanville, W.Va.; three sisters,
Barbara VanWeide of Ada, Mich., Carol Lewis of Springfield, Ohio and
Virginia Welch of Eaton, Ohio; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Tim Salyers officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
