Hazel Bailey, 93, of Flat Gap, died Thursday, April 18, at Mountain
Manor Nursing Home, Paintsville.
Born June 12, 1919, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the
late George Powell and Laura Salyers Williams. She was a member of The
Father’s House Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willard Bailey.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Meade of Flat Gap; a brother,
Delmond Williams of Flat Gap; three grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 20, at The Father’s House, with
George Meade and Dewayne Frazier officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
