WALLACE R. BAILEY

Wallace R. “Wassie” Bailey, 63, died Tuesday, June 20, in Paul B. Hall
Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Bailey was born September 23, 1925 in Johnson County, the son of
Hirst M. and Zella VanHoose Bailey. He was a disabled veteran.

Surviving are his mother; his wife, Mary Rose Hall Bailey; three
brothers, Charles of Webster, FL, and David and Ferrell, both of Ashland;
and six sisters, Jean DesJardin, of Port Charlotte, FL, Florence
Prucnell, Faye Music and Beulah Alley, all of Ashland, Martha Ward of
Zepry, FL, and Jenny Keug, of St. Clair Shores, MI.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 23, in the First Baptist Church,
Paintsville, with Dr. Milam and Don Yeager officiating.

Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers were Wallace Bailey, Jim Duncan, Mike Hall, Jimmy
Purcnell, Ray Tosti and Jimmy Woods. Honorary pallbearers were Escom
Chandler, Bill Music, P. D. Pack, Everett Stafford, Glen Ward, James E.
Wheeler, and Jim Williams.
