Willard E. Bailey, 90, of Flat Gap, died Thursday, July 22, in Flat
Gap.
  
Born March 14, 1920, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late
Estill and Molly Wright Bailey.
  
He was a member of The Father’s House of Prayer, and was a retired auto
mechanic with the Kentucky State Highway Department and a U.S. Navy
veteran.
  
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Williams Bailey of Flat Gap; a
daughter, Patricia Meade of Flat Gap; three grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Saturday, July 24, at The Father’s House of
Prayer, with George Meade, Earl Wright, and Kenny Wright officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
